National Day of Actions in Defense of Public Education

October 7th was National Day of Actions in Defense of Public Education.  I am lucky and privileged to be entirely public school educated (in a time where education was still tuition-free). And I hope that, one day, my children will be too! So, I’m thrilled to read about all the demonstrations across the USA.

Here are some images from my (adopted) hometown of Minneapolis:

Related: Stop Using Students as ATM Machines! A great op-ed by my (former) Professor and (past and present) role model, Teri Caraway.

Do you know of other events across the country to defend public education?  Let me know!
